Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the house, unlike almost all other poker games that players play against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about other, more experienced gamblers taking their cash.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to gamble on for a very long time with only a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
