Have you noticed the new PokerPro holdem poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks back when I took a brief trip with my mother to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my name to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other men and women at the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was quite interesting to say the least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was stale. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, except I did notice the gamblers at the table had a dull high quality to them. The reason behind this may possibly be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked bored to tears. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live version of an internet texas holdem poker room rather than being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a little bizarre and I kept flashing back to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the stay tables was over an hour, I made a decision to observe how the game action was and to understanding this new texas hold’em poker gaming technology. After betting a couple of hands, I truly felt like I was wagering at house. The lack of activity at the table was the main reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are feasible at these computer tables.
One more thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a great deal of hands in the PokerPro table and noticed that the wager on was a lot like a web-based hold em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to be quite odd.
Following betting a couple of rounds with this "unique texas hold em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m much better off playing texas holdem poker on the internet at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino had been to acquire rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a great deal of players.
