The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out cash equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
