Poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other players attain five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
