Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up chips equal to your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
